A one-day class for youth ages 14 to 18. Teaching basic creative and technical aspects of no-budget filmmaking – including scriptwriting, lighting, shooting and editing.
Facilitated by Jared Raab, freelance filmmaker, film editor and cinematographer and a graduate of York University’s film program. His Guerrilla Filmmaking workshop has run for several years as part of the Toronto Film Festival’s “Sprockets” school program and he has facilitated youth video-activism workshops through Peterborough’s ReFrame Festival.
WHEN: Saturday February 13, 2010 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Old Millbrook Public School, Dufferin St., Millbrook.
COST: Free to attend workshop. A $10 refundable deposit is required to hold a spot (will be returned on attendance at workshop). Please make cheques out to the Millbrook International 3-Minute Film Festival.
